Spiritual Development
Students are taught simple prayers, observe
religious symbols around them, and learn about
Jesus and his love for us. |

Intellectual Development
Language Arts:
Alphabet recognition, stories, reading readiness and show and tell |

Computer Education: Computers with reading readiness games
are available in the classroom |

Math: Recognition and names of numbers, shapes, sizes, and
counting to 10 |
|
Science: Develop a stronger understanding of plants,
animals, weather and seasons |
|
Social Studies: Units on families, celebrations, town
helpers and landmarks |
|
Music: Musical instruments, singing and dancing |
|
Arts and Crafts: Crayons, clay, paints, cutting and
pasting |
|
Library: Story time with the school librarian |
|
|
|
Physical Development |
|
Students are taught the basics of physical education and
have a weekly period with the school gym instructor. Here and in the classroom,
good sportsmanship and a sense of fair play are encouraged. |
